Uncle Rocky and Ms. Stacy's Wedding

Hi folks it has been a while. I thought I would tell you about a wedding I just went to. Uncle Rocky is my mom and dad's friend Erik. He grew up with mommy, and my Nanna was his Nanny! We call Uncle Rocky "Uncle Rocky" because when Katie was little she couldn't say Erik. Also he collects a lot of cool rocks. He got Married to Stacy Clemmer, she is nice I like her.

Uncle Rocky lives in Pennsylvania. He has a long long driveway. It goes over a stream. We like to go throw rocks in the stream. The stream goes down to Lake Nockamixon 3 miles away! There was a big pile of shale rocks on Uncle Rocky's driveway and I made shale houses with my sisters on top of a pile of mulch.

So, Lets talk about the wedding. First we went to the church. It was very big. Katie, Abbie, Johanna and I went with Ms. Melissa on a walk in the church. We took Johanna to the nursery and we all played there. When it was time for the wedding I video taped Mom singing. She did great. When the wedding was over we went to the reception. They served the courses of food one after the other. It was a lot of food. For the toast I drank sparkling cider, but the grownups had champagne. We all got a little bag of M&M's at our plate. When the groom and bride left they went in a limousine, we went in mom's van.

It was fun I enjoyed it a lot.

Beach House with my Family

We went to a beach house a few weeks ago and stayed there with my Aunt Trina, Uncle Bosco, Cousin Gavin, Sam, Jesse, Aunt Vickie, Uncle Greg, Uncle Digger, Aunt Cathy, Dillon, Brandon, Joey, Amy, Willie, Uncle Danny, My Mom and Dad and my sisters. This picture is me and Dad on the beach when were being silly during family pictures.

There was a pool and a hot tub. I spent most of the time in the pool and at the beach. We went to the beach almost every day. The beach was very rough and there were red flags for a few days. when they took the flags down the waves were huge! There was a shallow sandbar and a big dropoff. Me and Abbie Boogie boarded and Katie learned how to surf. Aunt Trina and Uncle Digger taught her how. She did good she even got on her feet.There was a surfing competition down the beach and we watched. The surfers did good. My Uncle Joey gave me a lesson on how to use my new skim board, and Aunt Trina showed me how to wax it.

Baby Beach!!!!

Today we went to my favorite beach, Baby Beach! This a picture of me and my sister, Abbie, playing there. I call it Baby Beach because it is so shallow no matter how far out you go. The waves there are soooo small. Baby Beach is not in the ocean, it is in the sound(like a bay).

My cousins Evie and Cana and my Tia came with us today because they are visiting for part of the summer. We played in the water mostly but we played in the sand, too. We tried to make a sand castle but it didn't work because the sand was too wet. I made a pond in front of a little mountain I made out of sand but it collapsed because the water washed out the bottom of it. I have to go shower off the sand so I will talk to you later!

Back home from the Creation Festival

The Creation Festival is a music festival that is held every summer at the Agape Farm in Pennsylvania. My whole family goes, my mom, my dad, all three sisters, my Nana, my Tia, uncle Chris , and my cousins Evie and Cana come too. We had a birthday party for Cana (she turned 1). She smashed her hands into the cake and then she started to cry, and then later she licked her fingers and I think she liked it. We ate the cake anyway, and there were cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches. The party was in the Barn and they had brownies , so I had one of them too. Mr. "Wilke" came with us this year. He is a singer in our church, and he sang worship with Mommy at the farm and worked on stage crew.

Creation is fun. They sell T-shirts and they have food vendors. There is a children's tent where they have the kids cookie break and Phredd and Mark Thompson and Jessie Rothacker, the Steven Courtney Band, Slugs and Bugs, and My Mom and Ms. Heidi sing worship at the beginning of the day. My favorite singer this year was the Slugs and Bugs guy. We went to the children's grove and made crafts, and I got a funny face painting. I looked like daddy. I liked riding around on Daddy's golf cart. Daddy has a golf cart cause he works for Public Safety. There are a lot of people at the festival. I guessed there were 9,000 people but Dad says there were more than 50,000.

Some of my freinds at the festival are Merick, Mr. Mike, Mr. Nick, Ms. Heidi, Mr. Richard, Jessica, Mama Candy, Mr. Jessie, Ms. CeCe, Ms. Sandrene, I think there is more, but I can't think of all their names. Was saw some cool bands on the main stage. I liked Skillett so much that today I used my toy instruments and made Skillet Born Again, my own band. Katie played drums and I played Air Guitar and Abbie used one of my Nerf Guns and a dart gun for fireworks. (Hee-hee!) I think this is all for today. See you soon.

My new sister, Johanna.

Hi there readers,

On March 12 my new sister was born. It was so cool! I got to hold her when I saw her in the Hospital. She has a whole bunch of blond hair. She was born at the Outer Banks Hospital, that is where I was born!! I think that is cool! When Mom and Johanna came home from the hospital I was very happy.

A few days later mommy had to go to a different hospital, because she got really sick. We missed her so much. Every night we prayed for her to come home soon and to get better. God heard our prayers. One night we were trying to figure out when she would come home and as soon as we said that, guess who came in the door? IT WAS MOMMY!!!! I was so happy. Mommy is getting better every day. I get to help with my new sister every day.

Hi Readers!

My name is Micah and this is my new BLOG. I am going to use this to write about things I have done and things I like.

For instance, I got a B.B. Gun this Christmas from my Grammy and Popaw. This picture is me and my Dad and my Popaw in Popaws back yard shooting it on the day after Christmas. I always have to check the safety before I cock it. I am wearing safety glasses so I don't shoot my eye out! I did good shooting for a first timer.

Yesterday I went to Jockeys Ridge with my Grandad. It was very, very fun. Jockeys Ridge is a state park in North Carolina. The whole thing is sand! My favorite hill was a very steep hill and it was very runny, like an avalanche!

Another thing I like to do is go swimming. In the summer time we get to go to the beach a lot because we live on an island.
